Setting Browser Preferences
in Internet Explorer (Macintosh)
- Open an Internet
Explorer browser window.
- Select Preferences
from the menu.
- Click on the small
triangle to open the menu under the Web Browser category if it is not
already expanded.
- Click on Web
Content. A content window opens.
- Select Show
style sheets (in the Page Content area).
- Select Enable
scripting and Enable plug-ins at the bottom
of the window (in the Active Content area).
- Click on Java
under the Web Browser category. A Java settings window appears.
- Make sure there
is a checkmark next to the Enable Java selection.
- Click on Security
Zones under the Web Browser category. Select Medium
and click OK.
- Click on the small
triangle to open the menu under the Receiving Files category
if it is not already expanded.
- Click on Cookies.
A Cookie settings window appears.
- From the pull-down
menu on the right choose either Never Ask (i.e., accept
all cookies) or Ask for each site. If you select Ask
for each site you can enter www.webct.pdx.edu as the site to accept
cookies from in the window above the pull-down menu.
- Click OK.
Close
this window to return to the main menu. |
